Jensen JiMS 525i - For your iPod

Posted by Phalgun Shenoy in Uncategorized

We in our family  have been hearing  HD Radio for about a year.  I  enjoy this radio and the new music stations.  Since  there is lot of static in and around airports and power lines when listening to AM talk radio I gather that  HD Radio  has completely eliminated the “in-and-out” of static in most places including parking garages., since HD radio is broadcast digitally, as this is a Digital Radio and not a  satellite radio, its sound quality is generally higher than analog AM or FM broadcasts.

A new digital radio standard  hdradio.com being championed by dozens of electronics manufacturers including Jensen, Polk Audio, Alpine, BMW, Cambridge SoundWorks, Denon, LG Electronics!  In  HD Radio Receiver your favorite station remains in the same place on the radio dial, but when you have a new digital HD Radio receiver, your AM sound like FM and FM sounds like CDs.

The Jensen JiMS 525i is a handsome  docking digital HD Radio tabletop system for iPods and iPhones with support for the new  iTunes tagging technology!  To know more just head on to hdradio.com!

ESL lighting!

Posted by Phalgun Shenoy in Uncategorized

Well, we have heard of CFL lighting.  But  another contender has stepped into the ring of energy efficient lighting i.e. ESL -electron-stimulated luminescence! ESL turns on instantly, can work with dimmers,  creates a light quality  similar to incandescents and halogens. ESL bulb works by using accelerated electrons to light up a phosphor coating on the inside of a glass bulb. It is claimed ESL bulbs are better than CFLs and LEDs.
